Do Something!

Do Something, a website that promotes the involvement of teenagers in the community, is using technology to encourage teens to volunteer. In two or three clicks, teens can sign up to receive text messages that advertise volunteer opportunities in or near their zip code and in the area of interest that they specify.

What's more, Do Something offers us "old people" an opportunity to help get teens involved in service. Visit www.dosomething.org and scroll to the bottom of the page. In the footer, you will find the "Old People" link.
