How to Help with the Oil Spill

Those interested in responding to the oil spill are urged to attend one of three weekend trainings. Trainings are held by the EPA.

San Francisco
Two training sessions will be held Saturday at the Hall of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. The first session runs from 8 a.m. to noon; the second from 1 to 5 p.m. Attendees will be certified to clean area beaches and will receive schedules for future beach cleanups.

Berkeley
Training will be held Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the West Berkeley Senior Center, 1900 Sixth Street. Find more information at www.cityofberkeley.info or call (510) 981-6720 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
